Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Your driver will pick you up at 8:00 a.m. from your Marrakech hotel or riad. Journey across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), pausing for panoramic photos of Berber villages.

Stop to visit Telouet Kasbah, the former residence of the powerful El Glaoui family, before continuing through the picturesque Ounila Valley to reach Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its role in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After exploring, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a traditional kasbah.

After breakfast, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing Skoura and Kelaa Mgouna (the Valley of Roses) before reaching the Dades Valley.
