Your adventure begins with an early 8:00 AM pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, winding through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with breathtaking views. Visit the Telouet Kasbah, once a stronghold of the Glaoui family, and continue through the Ounila Valley toward Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar famous for its cinematic history.

After exploring this ancient village, travel onward to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you’ll visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Dinner and overnight in a 4-star traditional kasbah hotel.

After breakfast, head east through the Valley of Roses, known for its annual rose festival and beautiful scenery. Continue along the Road of 1001 Kasbahs toward Boumalne Dades, passing charming Berber villages nestled in the cliffs.

Arrive in the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the winding gorge before reaching Todra Gorges. Take a leisurely walk along the river beneath the towering red cliffs — a favorite among rock climbers. Dinner and overnight in a kasbah overlooking the peaceful valley.

Enjoy breakfast before traveling toward Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and desert crafts. Continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. After a refreshing mint tea and meeting your camel guide, begin a sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, one of Morocco’s most breathtaking natural wonders.

Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you’ll savor a traditional dinner, listen to Berber music by the fire, and admire a sky filled with stars. Overnight in a private ensuite tent surrounded by golden sand.

Wake early to watch a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to meet your driver. The journey to Fes begins through the Ziz Valley, known for its date palm oases, and continues to Midelt via the Middle Atlas Mountains.

After lunch, stop in Azrou to stroll through the Cedar Forest, home to the playful Barbary macaques, then pass through the alpine-style town of Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland.”
