Day 1: Marrakech Airport – Arrival (28 December 2025)

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel or riad. Take the evening to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind before your Moroccan adventure begins.Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with pickup from your Marrakech hotel or riad. Journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) with stops for scenic photography. Visit the legendary Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has graced many Hollywood films including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After lunch, continue toward Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Cinema Studios, then drive along the picturesque Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to reach Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming Kasbah surrounded by spectacular mountain views.

After breakfast, set out on a guided tour of Marrakech to uncover the city’s iconic landmarks: the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, and the Bahia Palace. Wander through the vibrant souks, full of color, scents, and craftsmanship. Enjoy lunch near Jemaa el-Fna Square, then return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Marrakech after breakfast, ascending through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its cinematic legacy (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia).

Continue to Ouarzazate, stopping at the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah, before reaching Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by magnificent scenery.

After breakfast, drive through Dades Valley toward Tinghir, enjoying panoramic views of kasbahs and oases. Explore the dramatic Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most stunning natural canyons, then visit a local fossil workshop in Erfoud.

Arrive in Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits to take you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Tonight, celebrate New Year’s Eve 2024 under the desert sky with Berber drumming, a traditional Moroccan feast, campfire dancing, and stargazing — a night you’ll never forget.

Welcome the first sunrise of 2024 over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to the hotel for a refreshing shower, then travel north through Rissani and the Draa Valley, passing palm oases and ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay.
